Common questions
Which exam boards are the packs written for?
Available now: Edexcel International GCSE English Language A (4EA1) and OxfordAQA International GCSE English Literature (9275). Cambridge IGCSE (CIE) English packs are coming soon. Each pack names its exam board and availability; check your exam entry before choosing.
Which pack should I start with?
Answer the three questions under "Not sure where to start?" on the home page and it will point you at one. As a rule: start with the part of the paper where you lose the most marks, and add the mock papers when the exam is close.
Can I try a pack before I buy it?
Yes. Packs with a free sample open without an account. Choose Preview free lesson on a pack, or Try a free lesson on the home page. You read the real lesson, not a summary of it.
How long do I keep access?
Standard purchases give 12 months of access. A Taster, where offered, gives 14 or 30 days as shown before payment. No automatic renewal. During an eligible Taster, upgrade the same pack to 12 months with the full Taster fee credited once.
How do I pay?
Pay securely by credit or debit card through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available on supported devices when offered at checkout. Your pack unlocks automatically after payment is confirmed. For PayMe or FPS, follow the checkout instructions; access follows manual confirmation, normally within 8–12 hours. Standard packs provide 12-month access. Where offered, a paid Taster provides 14 or 30 days at the price shown. Neither renews automatically.
What does the AI marking actually do?
AI essay feedback follows the selected pack's rubric and applicable question type, using relevant pack materials where available. It highlights evidence in your writing and suggests next steps. Supported complete answers may receive task-specific marks; missing essential material or an unsuitable task may receive feedback without a score. It does not predict an overall qualification grade. Verified free accounts can opt into two trial marks per account in My Essays; this does not unlock paid content. After the trial, an eligible unlocked pack is required. Usage limits apply. Homepage examples are written demonstrations. AI feedback is not an official mark or a personal review by Danielle.
Is this an official Edexcel, OxfordAQA or Cambridge (CIE) product?
No. Between the Lines is an independent study resource by Danielle, not endorsed by Pearson Edexcel, OxfordAQA or Cambridge International. Cambridge IGCSE (CIE) packs are coming soon.
Can I get one-to-one help as well?
Yes. Once you have an account you can request a session from the Booking page, and Danielle also reviews university personal statements — see the Personal Statement page.
